We are proud of our District's students!
The Midtown Improvement District is honored to be able to help launch the 2024-2025 School Year for Midtown area students with encouragement, positivity, supplies, books and fun this month with a special Back to School Fair at Vickery Park Branch Dallas Public Library. The event attended by hundreds of students and their families provided full supplied backpacks for all students. Everyone enjoyed delicious food from Back Country BBQ and Monarca Fruteria and So Icey, courtesy also of Midtown Improvement District.
Special thanks to Dallas Police Department Northeast Patrol, Midtown Blues, The Shops at Park Lane, Costco, Half Price Books, Old Navy, Texas Health, Dallas Public Library, McDonald's, Youth Believing in Change for their support. A portion of the backpacks were donated by Costco, books donated by Half-Price Books, financial support from The Shops at Park Lane and gift cards donated by Old Navy. McNuggets were enjoyed by attendees from McDonald's.
We are cheering the students of Tasby, Lowe, Conrad, Jill Stone and McShan to have an amazing successful and safe 2024-2025 school year!
